I am writing a screenplay right now. Currently it is the idea I am most involved in. The idea is also quite the puzzle as it combines some very basic assumptions and knowledge on religion and philosophical ideas. It deals with the information age, the validity of knowledge, nature, nature of humans, and it is a social criticism to its core. I draw heavy inspiration from David Cronenberg's "Videodrome" with the transhuman themes related with television and its affect on people. I quest to explore that in a contemporary setting with the internet as well as adding in my idea of a human god-complex as well as the individual and humanity's angst with nature.
The point of this post is for discussion. I would like if anyone is interested, to message me and I would love to share my ideas if you are wanting to share me yours. As right now my thoughts are not 100%lucid, I would also like to discuss privately (as private as the internet could allow this to be). I would like dialogue for the purpose of refining my understanding of the religious and philosophical aspects of the script as well as just simply conversation about religion and philosophy in general. I find that it is a little bit difficult to discuss with my peers, haha.
